1. Why do you think that the yellow man stole the script?
I think that the yellow man wants the script because he wants to know when the canon goes off in the play to know when they should kill the queen to make it sound like it was in the play. He needs the script to know when the boom is in the play.
2. What do you think the conspirators will do to Peter?
I think they will bring him to Sir Philip Morton because he knows too much. I think Sir Philip Morton will try to kill him. I think that before he arrives at Sir Philip Morton’s, Kit or someone else will save him. I don’t think that Kit will get captured.
3. Do you think it was dangerous for Peter to go into the tower and why?
I think it was dangerous for Peter to go into the tower because Sir Philip Morton would be there. If Sir Philip wasn’t there one of his guards could have been there and they might have captured him.

1) P.135
The room wasn’t empty. I could hear men’s voices as I climbed higher. After all, I should have to use the top floor-window. “Well, I don’t intend to loose my head on Tower Hill,” came the voice of the yellow gentleman, so suddenly and crystal-clear that I almost let got my hold….
I like this passage because it is when you find out who is in the plot. We also find out that Sir Phillip Morton is part of this. I also liked it because we now know that Sir Phillip Morton isn’t a very good man after all.
2) P.177
What a long time Tom was! He must have been hours. He was probably copying numbers of documents by candlelight.
“I was getting frightened,” she said.
“I’m safe and sound,” I assured her. “Has Tom come back?”
“No. I haven’t seen him. Haven’t you?”
“No.”
Neither of us ever saw him again.
I like this passage because no one knows what happened to Tom and every one is worried. I liked it too, because I wonder what happened to Tom: did someone catch him? Did he escape? Had he ran away?
3) P. 185
“I hope he was alone,” said a gruff voice.
“Getting frightened, Anthony?” The second voice was high and mocking. I guessed that the first speaker was Anthony Duncan of Troutbeck, he of the black beard.
“I’m not frightened,” growled Duncan, “but it gives you a shock.”…
I like this passage because you find out what this group of people, the conspirators, is trying to do – kill the Queen. I also like it because I don’t know how I would have reacted and I liked the way the 2 men did. One was scared and the other one wasn’t.

Kit and Peter went alongside the mountain near Sir Philip’s peel tower. Kit had to stay behind to make sure Peter was not ambushed. She would whistle if anybody but him went to the tower. If in an emergency, she would have to race over the mountain to get Peter’s dad. Peter dashed for the tower, trying not to be seen by anyone. Once he entered the tower, he examined the inside as much as he could for it was very dark but he heard no signs of other people. He went into a room that had a spiral staircase leading up and down. He went downstairs until he heard footsteps of two other people coming from upstairs. It was two of the conspirators. They stopped and broke down the conspiracy so that they could understand it but luckily for Peter, he understood it as well. They were going to kill the queen of England during one of Shakespeare’s plays. As they were explaining it, Kit was whistling because Sir Philip was heading towards the tower. Peter heard her but only a couple dozen steps stood between him and the men, if he made one sound he would be in trouble and sadly he fell and was immediately captured. Peter woke up in a chair bound around the hands and feet with rope.
